RBP Chemical Technology Announces New Aqueous Developer-Stripper Antifoam Agent

Milwaukee, Wisconsin, April 2009RBP Chemical Technology Inc has announced the immediate availability of FoamFREE™ ONE, an aqueous antifoaming agent for image developers and strippers, and for solder mask developers.  The new RBP product suppresses foaming at very low concentrations, without leaving residue behind or in the machine.  RBP FoamFREE ONE is very effective at low concentrations, and can be added directly to the sump or metered with an automatic dosing system.

Announcing the new aqueous developer-stripper antifoam agent, RBP Director of Sales and Marketing Robert Coleman commented “RBP FoamFREE ONE is the latest advancement in antifoams for printed circuit manufacturers.  It is designed to complement a wide variety of resist strippers and is recommended for use with RBP Microstrip™ ONE, our latest fine line resist stripper.”

RBP Chemical Technology Announces New Fine Line Resist Stripper

Milwaukee, Wisconsin, March 2009 - RBP Chemical Technology Inc has announced the immediate availability of Microstrip™ ONE, a fine line resist stripper designed to remove the most tenacious resists.  The new stripper turns resist into fine particles, to ensure complete removal from area with extremely narrow line spacing (less than 4 mils) and from beneath overplated areas.  Improved metal inhibitors in RBP Microstrip ONE promote copper etching.

RBP Microstrip ONE works particularly well in high-pressure spray systems, although it may be used as a soak as well.  Stripping speed and particle size will vary with the type and thickness of photoresist, temperature, pH, concentration, equipment type, and application.  Filtration is recommended to remove resist particles and extend bath life.  In spray applications, it may be necessary to add a small amount of FoamFREE™ ONE, an RBP Chemical Technology proprietary antifoam agent, to control excess foam.

Announcing the new fine line waste stripper, RBP Director of Sales and Marketing Robert Coleman said “RBP Microstrip ONE is based on an advanced chemical formula tailored to the narrow line spacings faced by circuit manufacturers today.  It is the latest in the ever-evolving RBP line of chemicals for printed circuit manufacturers.”

RBP Chemical Technology Announces New Waste Treatment Products for Electronics and Metal Finishing

Milwaukee, Wisconsin, May 2009RBP Chemical Technology Inc has announced the immediately availability of three new waste treatment products for electronics and metal finishing.  Operating as a complete waste treatment system, the three products include:

  • RBP MetalTreat 530 - Precipitates metals out of solution
  • RBP MetalTreat 4007 - Coagulates the metal precipitate formed by MetalTreat 530
  • RBP MetalTreat 957 - Flocculates the coagulated metal waste formed by MetalTreat 4007

The final result of using the three RBP MetalTreat products is a dense, solid waste cake which can be easily removed from a bath.

Announcing the new MetalTreat system, RBP President Mark Kannenberg said “The RBP MetalTreat system is an innovative, complete chemical system for use by printed circuit manufacturers and metal finishing operations.  The entire line of chemicals is non-DOT regulated and non-hazardous.  MetalTreat 530, the precipitant, is entirely free of sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate (DTC) and thus prevents aquatic toxicity.  It is deodorized and can be used with Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) metering.  MetalTreat 4007, the coagulant, is equally effective in printed circuit board and metal finishing applications.  MetalTreat 957, the flocculant, is packaged as an easy-to-use suspension, rather than a hard-to-handle solid.  The entire RBP MetalTreat System offers a simple, effective solution to one of the more troublesome problems in printed circuit board production and metal finishing.”
