RBP Introduces Layer Clean NP
Enhanced Performance Environmentally Friendly Cleaner Contains No Phosphates
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, May 2008 - RBP Chemical Technology - a worldwide supplier of process chemicals to the printed circuit board industry - has introduced Layer Clean NP, a new acid, nonchelating, nonchloride cleaner containing no phosphates. This environmentally friendly cleaner very effectively removes chromate conversion coating from copper laminate, as well as fingerprints and oxides. When used prior to photoresist lamination, it reduces imaging defects by improving photoresist adhesion. Effective in both spray and soak applications, Layer Clean NP consistently provides quick cleaning at low concentrations. Layer Clean NP is non-etching, and particularly suitable for use with very thin copper foils. Its highly concentrated formula cleans quickly at low concentration for excellent cost savings.
Announcing the introduction, RBP Chemical Technology President Mark Kannenberg commented: “With the introduction of Layer Clean NP, RBP Chemical Technology continues our long-standing efforts to provide printed circuit manufacturers with efficient, environmentally benign chemicals.”
