Contact Rail Heater

Raychem Contact Rail Heaters are a range of power limiting rail heating cables, designed to eliminate ice and snow accumulation on the contact (third) rail and maintain power transfer to the train, avoiding costly service interruptions. Available in 480 VAC, 600, 625, 650, 750 VDC and power outputs of 30, 40, 50 W/ft at 32 °F/0 °C.
